History
The inception of Good Shepherd Public School, Sriganganagar, traces back to 1994 when the visionary Mr. Manjit Chimni, a former Commandant, realized his dream of establishing a school. This noble initiative was driven by the fervent aspiration of Mrs. Jatinder Chimni to provide the children of Sriganganagar with an educational institution geared towards preparing them for the challenges of the global arena.
On April 4th, 1994, the school commenced its journey in Jawahar Nagar with an initial enrollment of 9 children. Over the years, the institution, committed to providing comprehensive education, flourished and eventually moved to its own premises in 2000. Today, nestled amidst 4 acres of verdant landscape, the school accommodates over 2500 students. It steadfastly upholds its commitment to nurturing the intellectual prowess of its students, ensuring they emerge as enlightened and empowered citizens poised to contribute meaningfully to the world.
